Delete your RodChao account
You can delete your RodChao account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to delete it in the app or on this website, how to request deletion, what data is removed, and what we must keep.
Delete from the app or website
- Sign in to your RodChao account in the mobile app or on this website.
- Go to Account, then open the “Manage account” section.
- Choose “Delete account”, read the warning and confirm. If you have a rental in progress, complete or cancel it first. Your account and personal data are then deleted and you are signed out.
Or request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email us from the address registered on your account and ask us to delete it. We may verify your identity before processing. Contact: support@rod-chao.com
What is deleted or anonymized
- Your name, email address, phone number and LINE ID.
- Your password and sign-in credentials.
- Uploaded identity and driving-licence documents, including document numbers and image files.
What we must keep
- Records of completed rentals, payments, invoices and receipts, kept in anonymized form no longer linked to an identifiable person.
- Data we are legally required to retain under Thai tax, accounting and related obligations.
How long it takes
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Deletion requests sent by email are completed within 30 days. Anonymized transaction records are retained only for the period required by law (generally up to 5 years for accounting).
